A first-pass Surface Danger Zone on the map.
An outdoor shooting range planning app for seeing the firing point, direction and preliminary SDZ footprint together before the project gets deeper.
See the geometry before building the project record.
Range Master connects a firing point, bearing, target distance, ammunition choice and impact surface to a live preliminary map. Saved ranges, layout tools and records keep the first-pass work together.
- GPS or tap-to-place firing point
- Live direction and target-distance updates
- Ammunition and impact-surface selection
- Saved ranges and range-layout planning
- Planning-summary export
The app is not a final range map.
Range Master produces a first-pass estimate using idealized planning assumptions. It is not a boundary survey, site-specific risk assessment, permit exhibit, containment certification or final safety determination.
A project map may require verified property information, terrain analysis, accepted standards and responsibility from a qualified professional or reviewing authority. See the difference between the app and project mapping.
More range-planning tools when you need them.
The free app supports basic planning. Premium unlocks the full ammunition library, additional saved ranges, the layout designer, records and planning-summary exports.

What Range Master does and does not do.
What does Range Master show?
It places a preliminary Surface Danger Zone planning overlay on a live map from an entered firing point, direction, distance and ammunition selection.
Is it a certified SDZ or final range map?
No. Range Master is a first-pass planning aid, not a boundary survey, permit exhibit, containment certification, site-specific risk assessment or final safety determination.
Does the app collect personal data?
The App Store privacy label states that Range Master does not collect data.
Need a site-specific map instead?
Project mapping starts with the actual range, intended use, accepted data and reviewer requirement.
